| Centrifugal pumps, either petrol or heavy duty diesel engined versions come with a semi rigid suction hose and filter and a layflat delivery hose. Submersible pumps only require a layflat delivery hose. They are electrically powered and can be fitted with a float switch to switch the power on and off when the water reaches preset levels. This means that they can be left unattended for long periods.Where there is a need to clear water to a very low level, ie. 1mm, submersible puddle pumps may be used .
