Rivet busters are the machine for removing hot rivets.  Mounted with chisels to knock the heads of the rivets or mounted with punches to knock the rivet stems out this useful machine is the fastest way to remove rivets. Most hirers usually hire angle or straight rotary drills to ream out the imperial holes to the metric size using bridge taper reamers, for replacing with either HSFG bolts or TCB bolts.  Can also be fitted with a 'fishtail' chisel enabling the rivet buster to cut steel open in areas where only cold cutting is allowed ie,, petrochemical sites or removal of tanks and vessels that still contain combustable fumes.
