The hire fleet Trumpf TKF plate bevellers including the automatic forward feed units (also known as weld prep machines) are a unique type of machine used for creating a chamfer on sheet mild steel, stainless steel and pipe. Whether you are needing K, V, X or Y angles the results are always even and the surface has minimal amount of roughness. Due to the punching process the work ends up free of oxides. The Trumpf TKF can be hired to bevel angles between 20 and 55 degress with a 15mm length of bevel on sheet steel upto 160mm in thickness. If greater bevel lengths are needed we also have Jancy BM20 bevelling machines on the hire fleet. The jancy beveller works differently from Trumpf TKF's using a milling head rather than a punch, the head contains six cutting inserts which cut the chamfer into the steel. The Jancy BM20 is able to produce a 3/4" length of bevel on an unlimited steel plate thickness due to how the machine mounts on the steel, though does bevel at a slightly slower rate than the TKF.
