The lifting magnets on the hire fleet are advertised as the 'safest lift in the world', with no power supply the magnet is not affected by power cut outs. The magnet works with a simple lever mechanism which you simply pull over for magnet on then pull back for magnet off. The lifting magnet has safety features meaning loads cannot be accidentally dropped due to the magnet disengaging. Firstly the lifting eye has an autolock on the engage/disengage handle once a load is on, secondly there is a safety button on the release handle meaning there can be no accidental release.
